Domain Lab queries the authoritative WHOIS and RDAP records for each domain on a recurring daily schedule and tracks the registry expiration date and EPP status codes directly from the source, independent of your registrar.
Does this work with domains at any registrar?
Yes. Because monitoring is based on public registry data, Domain Lab works with domains registered anywhere — GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, Porkbun, and hundreds of others — all in one dashboard. Cloudflare and Porkbun accounts can also be connected for automatic import.
When will I be alerted before a domain expires?
You control the thresholds. By default Domain Lab notifies you well ahead of the expiration date and escalates as it approaches, via email, Slack, Pushover, or webhooks. The AI review also flags expiring domains during regular scans.
